I feel like I'm supposed to be too old for this shippy stuff. And then I remember who gives a fuck, seriously, rite? Right ( Read more... )

You are never too old for shippy stuff!! People who don't ship are either really boring or lying through their teeth (yes with their pants on fire)

Also. Hello!!!

[waves] HELLO! It's so good to see you. ♥

They are totally boring or liars, or worse still, boring liars! The nerve!

Oh definitely boring liars. It's tragic really. We shall feel sympathy for them while we wave our shipper flags proudly. It doesn't even matter if they are waving different things these days!

Damn skippy.

You're shipping Ten/Rose these days, right? I never thought of the Doctor as ship material, but the new era Who quickly disabused me of that notion. Well, Tennant for sure did, at least. I'd probably ship him with a fire hydrant if I'm being completely honest.

How ARE you, btw? I was super rude not asking before, apologies!

Yes, I've gone COMPLETELY mad for Ten/Rose! I had never even seen Doctor Who before November and now, well, they've hit me as hard as Spuffy ever did! It's gotten me writing again though so I can't complain!

But. BUT! I've just finished what would've been the final chapter of Could Be You. Except that it's now going to be a final chapter plus smutty epilogue. After more than two years hiatus! Feeling accomplished today!

Doing ok in general. I've come down off the supreme high that was Dr. G (not sure if you were following that or not) and was feeling pretty low for a while there, but I'm on the upswing for sure.

And how are YOU?

I dropped out of, well, pretty much everything for a while, but I'd swing by on occasion and see an entry of yours featuring the fabulous Dr G (who sounded v. dreamy). Don't recall anything about coming down from the high, though? Nothing traumatic, was it? Just time wearing the shine off ( ... )

No, nothing traumatic, just I think things had reached the place where the friendzone could go no further and it was making me miserable. He still makes me weak in the knees when I run into him by surprise and we're still friends (he went on the most adorable geeky rant about Star Wars on my facebook the other day, and fanboyed over me seeing David Tennant). I just had to force myself to step back before it drove me nuts (and the stepping back drove me nuts as it was ( ... )

Oh no, you are definitely not the only one who feels that way. I'd like to think there will come a day where all the doubts and worries just disappear and suddenly I've got my shit together. It's not going to, but I enjoy being delusional now and then!

Lots of people use Tumblr now, don't they? When I get linked to something there, I end up terribly confused, and there's nothing I'm passionate enough about to get me to even TRY to figure it out. I AM AN OLD. NOW GET OFF MY LAWN. [grin]

I'm so out of the loop on Spuffy fandom I wasn't even sure some of the fic archives still existed. Was glad to see they do.

p.s. I'm in the middle of "Could Be You" right now. (I'm also in the middle of work. This is one of those perks I mentioned.) It's delish. Your writing is so, so good. Such a delight to read. Not to be too corny, but you know how there are authors you just trust are going to tell you a good story and tell it well? You're one of those.

I've ventured over to tumblr for the Ten/Rose, and it makes a little more sense now that I've been using it but even people that have been there for a while tell me it's the least user-friendly site ever. But it's PRETTY, so I see why people like it. If you ever decide to take the plunge, I'm abelinajt over there.

I don't think I've read much Spuffy in years, but I had to jump at the chance to finish CBY. I'm afraid the last two chapters aren't quite to the caliber of the rest of them, but it's good to be finished. I made the points I wanted and got in the smut it needed (I couldn't conclude a 16 chapter story that included at least 7 previous chapters worth of smut without a smut chapter). I hope not to disappoint. And thank you. That means a lot :)

Tennant/anything, really. The things I want to do to that man... er, I mean--no, wait, I did mean that.

hahahahaha!

He absolutely MUST use that gorgeous Scottish accent though. His English accent is, you know, oKAY, but when he talks in his real voice? Things happen. I know you know what I mean. :D

I'm watching Much Ado About Nothing right now and my current ship is now David Tennant/super tight jean shorts with very well-placed smear of paint. And he's using his own voice in it, too.

(Have you seen Broadchurch? He's all sorts of fabulous grumpy Scot in that)

I watched the first episode last year when I was house-sitting for my mom. When I got home and back to my regular routine, Broadchurch sort of fell by the wayside. I should probably remedy that.
