Ahh... Football...
David (the twelve-year-old) just won his second championship in a row with the Paradise Junior Midgets football team. The high school varsity team is in the playoffs and has a bye week the first round. They will play in the semis next friday and are favorites to win. I love this time of year. It's a shame my Soooners aren't doing so well, but it's nice to live in a town that has such great athletes and great coaches at the schools. Some people go out on fridays, some stay in, but I am perfectly content watching our local football team dominate the ground with their wing-t offense. In other news, we are remodeling the bathroom and once again, to save money, we are doing the tear down part ourselves. So today my mother and I ripped up our bathroom -- the toilet, sink, bathtub, cedar wall panels, drywall, a false wall, and the floor. Lots of fun. The new bathroom is going to be great, but until it's done, 6 people will share one. Fun.
