Ok, where to start? Well, yesterday was my first time ever going to Six Flags. I've been to Cedar Point once before, but not Six Flags. I was going with Donald and Dave and a whole bunch of people from school; about 20 in all. Donald, Dave, Asher, and I went to eat breakfast at Waffle House at 7:30 and then meet up with everyone at the school around 9:00. Well, almost everyone showed up at the school but some were late and had to meet us at the park. Well, when I finally got into the park around 10:30, the first ride that we hit was the Goliath. I was with three of my friends and that was perfect seeing as how the ride sits 4 to a row. Well, two of my friends, both of them female, had never been on a rollercoaster ever before. They've been on the small ones like you see at the small carnivals, but nothing like in a theme park. Well, if you don't know about the Goliath, it takes you up 200 feet in the air, and then drops you at 70+ MPH. Pretty fun for their first rollercoaster. One of my friends told me that they had been on a rollercoaster before, but they lied to me so they could be brave. *shakes head* But she came through it most certainly ok. She was laughing the whole ride because our other friend was screaming her head off. No, it's not very funny seeing as how she was scared, but she's willing to try more rides now. :) The only bad thing about that ride was the 45 minute wait, but I've waited in line for 2 hours before for a coaster, so it wasn't too bad. After that, we went to the Georgia Scorcher. In this one, you stand instead of sitting. It was really fun. Not as good as the Goliath, but after the Goliath, nothing seemed to be able to compare to it. The girls didn't go on it this time cause they wanted to rest, which wasn't bad, until I saw them with the cameras pointed at us. Oh, and my camera, that's another story. I go there with full batteries. Some guy that was going to take a picture of us accidentally drops it and then the batteries say they're empty. So, I borrow some money and get some new ones. It works fine. Later on in the day, the same thing happens, but it wasn't even dropped, how sad. I get home, turn on my camera, and then my batteries are full. WHAT THE HELL!!!!!!! Anyways, back to the fun stuff. After the scorcher we all decided to get lunch and then go for more rides. Well, most of the people got Chinese food, I just had an egg roll and some sprite, and then we were back on our way. To let our food settle, we took the train around the park to see what we might want to do next. Well, after the ride, we decided to do the Acrophobia. That's the one where they take you about 150 feet in the air, let you sit there for a second, and then drop you straight down. Not as scary as I thought it would be. But it was fun. We then took another break while we tried to find everyone and get some things accomplished; got smoothies, ice cream, the works. Next, we went on the Mind Bender. This ride was in dedication to Enigma from the Batman movies. It was fun. My friend (there was only one left now cause the other two had left, but Donald did join us, so there were three of us together) was a little tired and wasn't too sure about the ride, but she went on it anyways and enjoyed it. Well, I'll say she enjoyed it cause she was really cheering after the ride. It was the first ride she had been on that had a loop. Next was the Batman ride. This one wasn't too bad, cause you got to have your feet hanging. This one also had loops and twisties, just not a big enough drop to make it spectacular. She also really loved that ride as well. It was so great to take someone to a theme park for the first time and really see them enjoy themselves. That was the highlight of my day, just to watch a newbie have a lot of fun. After that, it was rather late and we had about 2 hours before the park was going to close, so we all just sat around for a bit. After a while, some of my friends wanted to go do a few more rides, but I just sat on the bench with my friend and chilled. I was exhausted. Well, after that, nothing much else happened. But it was such a wonderful day. A few of us went back to Waffle House and had dinner, cause we were starving (we didn't want to buy that expensive food from the park). Two of the more unfortunate things though was that my cell died while I was there, so nobody could contact me, and also that I left my wallet with Tiff and I couldn't spend any of my money, I had to borrow money from people. Other than that, I wish the day could happen all over again. I thank everyone who was there and made the experience even more enjoyable. I talked to one of my friends today and they are so exhausted. They pretty much stayed in bed all day today. Not me. I was up at 9:30, talked to some people online for a little bit, and got to spring cleaning. I can't wait to go back there again. When I tell you I thought the day couldn't have been any better, I mean it. Well, I shall talk to you all later. Love you all and God Bless.
