Bookcase arrived!
Yay! After a long 14-week wait our new bookcase finally arrived. It's three shelves high, and about 40" long. The stain turned out darker than I thought it would, but it still looks good on the oak. We put our hardbacks in it last night, and still had room for some of hubby sports memorabilia. (Mainly because 4 of the books are mine and the rest are his.)
So, we need to put more books in it. I've started haunting Alibris and ABE Books online to find signed copies of hardbacks by our favorite authors. If anyone knows of a site that sells autographed romance novels, please pass it along. For some reason they aren't as easy to find as other genres. :)
Time to go back and enjoy my chocolate frosted donut snack!
