(no subject)
Hm. I'm in Florida, and enjoying it quite a bit...even if it has been so much different. [Having a baby changes everything. Gabriel doesn't like rides.] And Dani's been struggling mentally/physically for some reason and thus only did...2 rides during the three days we theme-parked. I think she misses Kevin alot. Kind of sad, actually.
We bought 7 day Universal park hoppers last week and opted out of Disney. Did Studios and Islands of Adventure on two separate days...had a better time at Islands, as usual...got to see the construction for the Harry Potter section...sure, it doesn't look like much now, but...I was enthusiastic. The Mummy indoor roller coaster made me very ill at Studios, so I never got to have Tiramisu Gelatto -sadsigh-. And yesterday we went back, did a couple things at both parks, and then saw the night show, which was impressive.
The tickets included a water park, Wet N Wild, so we did that...it was decent.
There has been a proper number of random, short thunder storms since I've been here. Yay for that.
Apparently this week is going to be calmer...a picnic at a State Park, the beach maybe. I return home Friday. I'm kind of looking forward to it...I miss some people, that's new. I never used to miss people when I vacationed.
I also found out, unofficially, that Jenn and I got the room we wanted. A double in a suite at New Res. Yay for no communal bathrooms! [As long as the other four girls in my suite are not unreasonable about sharing one...if they are, it could be misery.]
I missed Marioparty and bet it would have been such a cool experience. Ahwell. Florida works too.
