So, I had one of the most exhausting, yet brilliant weekends/mondays of my life. Saturday was Kit's grad party, which included but was not limited to: a drunk uncle, watching Silhouettes, amazing brownie cookies, fun rope hammocks, one particular attractive boy to flirt with, hot tub soaks, and general enjoyment. Sunday was calmer, but I got to play a Wii for the first time [-kicks ass at Wii bowling-], which was sooooo much fun, and then Emma cut her hair really short; it looks cute, though, especially when fauxhawked.

Monday was intensive. Woke up around 7 because Emma couldn't sleep anymore, ha. Got ready, drove to Quincy, parked, took the T to Park Street. Switched lines, took the T to the Simmons stop. Walked in torrential downpours to the college (meanwhile, my unfortunate shoes soaked up tons of water and would be wet for the entire day). Met Emma's college, waited while she took her exam, which she believes went well (yay!).

Walked the wrong way for awhile, met some difficult, smoking firemen. Walked the right way for just a couple miles (stopping for lunch in between). Then, we reached Coolidge Corner in Brookline before I even got painfully tired, and spent about two hours in a very, very fun store where I got very, very fun presents. Then we (thankgodforpublictransportation), took the T to Harvard Square, where we went to Lush and Urban Outfitters before meeting Jenn, my future roommate, who is very cool and reminds us of Christine Talbot. We had dinner at a ridiculously busy and loud burger place, which was quite good [explodingshirleytemples], and then wandered some stores and ice cream places [cathangers] before parting ways and returning home.

I'm sore today. I'd like to start Final Fantasy VIII soon, but I obviously won't finish, or even have time to play, between Thursday and July 25th. I'm a very happy camper though...oh, camping...I still need sneakers.

Orientation is Thursday.
