Writer's Block: In a Former Life
I believe in it. I'm not sure how many other lives I've had, but I'm fairly confident that one of them was definitely in the 1920's-70's. Perhaps more than one. I have a spectacular affinity for the films and TV of the era. Films today excite me, but I can honestly say I sometimes find more enjoyment in a good old black-and-white movie, or one in color but from the late 50's.I love the fashion, the hair, the society, everything.
It's also entirely possible that I was a soldier, a witness to the American Revolution and Civil War, and an ancient Roman. Maybe also a gay man.
