Summary: Donghae finds that following Heechul on his crazy antics aren’t so bad after all.

Donghae didn’t know why he allowed Heechul to pull him into his crazy schemes and antics all the time, but in the end, the younger always found it strangely amusing to go along for the ride. When Heechul pulled Donghae aside on the last Friday before he enlisted in the army, the latter readily agree once again, albeit with a little grumbling and pleading not to. Of course, it’s not like he had a choice; Heechul never took “No.” for an answer.

It was a different experience, and Donghae became increasingly confused as his hyung dragged him outside and around the corner in the broad daylight. Heechul had decided, probably on a random whim, that they wouldn’t cover themselves with disguises this time, and Donghae felt open and vulnerable. Heechul dragged Donghae along the sidewalk with a strong grip on the younger’s wrist, and Donghae followed willingly, slightly curious about Heechul’s destination.

So when the feminine man pulled Donghae into the backseat of a taxicab and told the ready driver, “Just drive around the city, but slowly. We want to enjoy the view,” Donghae went along with it and didn’t question the choice.

It wasn’t soon before the girls on the streets began noticing Heechul and Donghae through the untinted windows of the vehicle, and soon there was a mob following the car with screams and cheers. The taxi driver scowled unhappily - Donghae could see his face in the rearview mirror - but he followed Heechul’s instructions, and kept to a slow, minimal crawl, which allowed the fans to keep up and surround the car’s sides.

Heechul laughed and waved happily, and Donghae soon found himself doing the same, as happiness and contentedness at the comedic moment with his hyung, the taxi driver, ELFs, and himself.

About half an hour later, Heechul finally allowed the taxi driver to stop the vehicle in front of Super Junior’s dorms, paid the poor man the needed fee plus a little extra as a tip, and while the duo entered and was standing in the elevator, the only sound Donghae heard was Heechul’s hysterical laughter, which even blocked out the sound of the drone of the elevator.

Donghae chuckled slightly; even though he had, and still doesn’t have, any clue about his hyung’s intentions, he had to admit that the entire experience was quite hilarious and memorable. “Why did you decide to do that again, hyung?” He asked with a grin.

Heechul stopped laughing and stared at Donghae incredulously. “Because it’s so funny!” he stated with a don’t-you-know-anything look and began laughing again, holding his sides to dull the ache that had appeared by then. “Did you,” Heechul wheezed and took a deep breath, panting for air. “Did you not see his face!? The man was so irritated! Oh, that was so funny!”

This time Donghae joined in on the laughter and the two continued their eruption of happiness into the dorm, where the rest of the members looked at them with expressions of surprise, and occasionally, mild irritation. No one wants to be interrupted by sounds of unstoppable, loud, booming laughter in the middle of the day after all.

After a while, Jungsu began wondering what was going on with his two dongsaengs, but all he got as a reply from Heechul was, “Jungsu! Hahaha, his face was so…. Was so…,” he trailed off in a fit of restarting giggles.

Donghae continued. “He was so angry, hyung! He was just…,” and even Donghae dissolved into another fit of laughter, inducing more tears at the pure hilarity of the situation.

Truly, Donghae didn’t even know what was so funny. It was just Heechul being himself after all. Messing with a taxi driver by paying to drive slowly and allow the mob of fans to envelop the car isn’t too far from switching Hyukjae’s shampoo with blonde hair dye, is it? But Donghae guessed it had something to do with the fact that he hadn’t seen his hyung laughing for so long, or so much in a long time - even the time he hid Kyuhyun’s special edition, preordered, predelivered, received earlier than the release date Skyrim under Jongwoon’s turtle tank and the maknae went absolutely ballistic and nearly ransacked SHINee’s dorm in an attempt to uncover his missing treasure.

In any case, Donghae only knew for a fact that he reveled in the sound of his hyung’s genuine, unforced laughter and even though it would disappear from the dorms for two years, it’s the small moments like these that create the largest memories.

A/N: And no, I am not listening to Mr. Taxi. *miffed* It's DBSK's Taxi, get it right! :P This is dedicated to kuroneko96pro, Umie-unnie, but ONLY if she keeps Donghae alive. :)
