Hi.
We went and saw Jen and Sal's house that they just bought and it's amazing. Better than I could hope for at this point. They're letting us rent the downstairs bedroom for 600 (split between Nick and I) for the first 2-3 months until we know we can afford the whole downstairs apartment which will only be 1000. Jen has a chocolate chihuahua named C-Lo that I'll probably spend all of my time with. I've never like a chihuahua before but she's pretty normal. And maybe if we rent the whole downstairs I'll be able to adopt a dog! There's a lake that has SWANS! about a mile away and a few blocks down from the house is the ocean. I feel so blessed.
October is going to be pretty crazy. Nick will be away for 11 days upstate recording the new record towards the end of the month and at the beginning of the month I'll fly home, pack my stuff and drive my car back up with my mom and brother following me with all of my stuff since my car couldn't pull a u-haul in it's dreams. So we'll barely see each other that month but it's something I'll have to get used to since the UK tour is my last one. I have a couple of options where I can start working once I get off tour while I'm looking for a better paying photograpy job, probably somewhere like a digital editing/printing place to start off with, but hopefully I can find an apprenticing or gallery job. There's a lot of people and places around here so it shouldn't be too hard.
I've been getting ready for the UK the past two days and it figures when I don't want to spend money is when I need to buy new shampoo/conditioner, body wash, razors, basically everything I'm out of now. So I've spent about 100 dollars on all that stuff but I still have plenty of money to spend while I'm over there. I'll probably be buying 100 dollars worth of jaffa cakes, that's all I know.
And since season 3 of Arrested Development is now in my posession, I will now leave and watch the rest.(It's only 19.99 at best buy, if you don't buy this you're TERRRRRIBLE).
