(no subject)
I don't know where to begin, large amounts of things have been happening.
I came to New York on the 3rd. Before I came here I went to Pittsburgh for 4 days and it was just what I needed to get me out of the rut I was in. Spent much needed time with Julie, Justin, Gavman, Allie, Joe,Mel and the AIP crew. When I got to New York we did a lot of fun things. We went to the city to see The Living End and it was probably the 2nd best live performance I've seen out of a band. For sure the tightest band I've ever seen though, not sloppy in the lease bit which is crazy seeing as how the bass player plays half the set standing up on top of his stand up bass. I had only seen them once before at warped tour in highschool and it didn't do them justice in the least bit. Afterwards our car was towed so we figured we might as well make a night of it in the city so we walked around a lot and got some falafel..then around 2 or 3 we got the car out of the impound lot and headed home. A couple days after this we went to warped tour and saw missed friends and a few bands. Finally got to give Billy his Maritime record that I bought for him in march and hung out with Travis while he was selling merch most of the time. We watched The Sounds, Bouncing Souls, Rise Against, Against Me!, and Saves the Day. A few days after that we went to the city to go shopping and go to The Format/Rainer Maria/Anathallo show only to find out it was completely sold out and no one was selling tickets at all. It's the only show that I've liked every band on the bill in quite a long time. And I really wanted to see Rainer Maria again, I think the last time was my sophmore or junior year in highschool. Either way I was really upset. But it was still a good day with Nick. I guess you should know that everytime I mention "we" in the post I really mean "Nick and I." Saturday was Nick's family's bbq and I met even more of his family and saw lots of his friends and met some new ones. Then yesterday was Ant and Nicole's engagement party and I got to see all our friends again so it was a nice weekend. I don't get to see Nicole too often but this week she's doing our tour with us so it's going to be great.
Wednesday we start with a show on Long Island and do 5 days in the northeast. Thursday I'll be in Pittsburgh so if you Pittsburgh people don't mind buying tickets to Smalls come and see me. I can't get everyone on the list, so don't ask. Then we have 2 1/2 days off and fly out to England/Ireland/Scotland for a month! And we have 3 days off before we start the tour so it's going to be crazy.
When we get back Nick and I have to decide if we want to move in with our friends Jen and Sal or if we want to wait until Nick's dad buys a house to rent out. The only problem with that is trying to find dependable people to move in with us, and seeing how all of our friends mostly tour, it's hard to find. I'll be getting a job or two when we get back and this may be my last tour with the guys. It just depends on what our living situation is and all.
