alan rickman, you make the rockin world go round

Oh wow, Alan Rickman is absolutely marvellous in real life. He's hysterically funny and I find his views on life very interesting. I'm fear I’m finding myself more and more enthralled with him. He truly just gave the greatest interview I’ve ever seen. Gah, I want to glomp him.

And oh my Davey! He’s singing a duet with Johnny Depp in a Tim Burton new film, Sweeney Todd! “Let’s see if we can both sing.” Good lord, with voices like that how could either of you not?

I’ll try to find the interview online later for anyone else that wants to see it.

On a (somewhat) related but mostly random note, I was watching the Full Monty on the television earlier and lo and behold in the credits was a man named William Snape. I had a small peanut attack as I giggled. Snape!

ETA: Nina Hagen must have the widest vocal range in the world. Holy shit. Her soprano is higher than most operatic sopranos and her lower voice is so low that the first time I heard her I was convinced she was man.

I found videos of both of the songs I'm talking about online so you can hear for yourself:
Nina Hagen - Naturtraene (opera like woah)
Apocalyptica feat. Nina Hagen - Seemann (if I could sing this low I would be in Davey's pants)
