bolton abbey
so one sunny morning we decided to head out to bolton abbey in north yorkshire for a bit of chilling.
the weather was looking up.

the guys went off to play football (but not me because i have 2 left feet).
and the girls took care of the food. we got 'em well trained.
the sun is shining, friends abound and all missionmcgee can do is take pictures of cows.
this cow was all licky licky. cows have big tongues. uuugh.
chris was naughty and tried to ride a cow. i wonder if it was his inappropriate behavior that caused the cows to stampede later in the day, chasing random cuples round the park, much to our amusement.

there was this huge rock thing that we all decided to jump off. i jump off no problems first time, but the jumping was obviously the easy part. on my way down i twist in the air until i hit the water side on, fully horizontal. like an elbow drop body slam. that shit hurt. but i was all tough and i have my pride, so i climb back up for another shot. this time jumping off isn't quite as easy and i have to coax myself to do it. and instantly wish i hadn't. i tipped forward in mid air, not quite tucking my legs in far enough, so that when i hit the water i ploughed into the river face first. headbutting the river if you wil.. it was like being punched in both eyes, so naturally i couldn't open them. i was trying to swim to shore wth my eyes closed and the rest of the motherfuckers told me to swim in the wrong direction, sending my downsteam. bastards.
john was the only with enough balls to dive off of it.
jim made a nice little montage to impress the ladies with on his myspace profile, so i figure using that saves me posting the pictures.
