So I caught the last 1/3 of "Connie & Carla" this morning before I left work & in one spot one of the queens asks another one (it's about drag queens) where the term "Drag Queens" comes from.   It's from Shakespeare. In his plays he used the note in the margin "d.r.a.g" meaning the actor came on "dressed as a girl."  Fascinating. I love learning ( Read more... )
