My Letter To Santa
Dear Santa,
What do I want for Christmas...? I would like my own home. Some space that is all mine to do with what I will. Not another crappy apartment.. I'd really like to have a home of my own this time, my own house. So that I can truly make every inch of it sing my song. I don't need anything big, just big enough for me. I would really like it to have at least 2 bedrooms, so that one could be a library/office. Even better would be a basement or another bedroom to use for studio space & storage. (Basement would probably provide the most space for what I want.) Just a bit of a yard for me to play with, and a driveway so I don't have to beg for parking.
I would dearly love to find someone to love who will love me back. Someone who is real, flaws & all, from day one. Someone who understands me, respects me and truly loves me for me.
Qualities I Want My Soul Mate To Have:
adventurous, funny, laughs loudly, without embarassment, enjoys being "too much", can take care of themself, doesn't need a "Mommy", smart, interesting, complex, loves people, loves to go out dancing, to movies, to dinner, loves nature, gardening, hiking, spontaneous, loves to try new things, likes to travel, not afraid of crowds, creative, inspired, dreams big, has open faith, not prejudiced, optimistic, loves deeply, family is important, supports themself, treats me with respect, enjoys surprises and silly little gifts, has wonder-full smile, not too "grown up", believes in magyk, affectionate, honest, defends me, faith-full, actually gives an answer when asked "what's wrong?", can talk about thoughts & feelings, doesn't make me pound my head on a brick wall of boundaries, treats us like partners of equal importance, compromises, doesn't yell, would never hit me, doesn't do drugs, doesn't smoke, drinks rarely, is my best friend.
And, lastly, I would love for my parents to find hope for their lives again. I wish for them to be inspired, moved. I wish for them to remember what optimism feels like.
