(no subject)
Hm.. nothing of great consequence to report, really. I managed to cook spaghetti last night, with breadsticks, and it was actually edible. For me, this is a special feat! lol. Especially since I did it all by my widdle self using just the directions off the spaghetti noodle box! 8D
Um.. since the besties aren't moving in for now I got some more work done around the apt. Got more stuffs put on the walls.. Made strategic use of my closet to stuff boxes in.. I really need a filing cabinet and one of those cool stand-up cabinets with the clear plastic drawers. That would be awesome. I could organize my bits and bobs soo nicely that way..
Interwebz has been driving me completely effing mad last two days. Why is it on days I have to go to work it's on all day, but when I have a couple days off and will actually be home the damn interwebz is all 'haha no interwebz for you!' and won't stay on for more than a few minutes at a time?! I've been trying to get songs uploaded for people who requested them from me on mp3_share and I have just given up at this point! I will try tomorrow.. maybe since I have to work tomorrow nite interwebz will be back in working order.. x___X
I had a dl copy of "Light On" from mp3_share since I do not haz damn stoopid itunes, & I been kinda feeling guilty bc I want to support the boyfriend, you know.. but tiffanynichelle posted in davidcookai7 about dling from Amazon & I felt like a total retard bc I hadn't even thought of that. I fail. SO I ran over to dl and prayed to interwebz gods that they not cut me off mid-dl. I mean, it's only one song. But apparently even interwebz gods understand the relationship I share with Cookie and did not dare to fuck with it. lol. SO iz dled all official and supportive-like now and feeling much betta about it. XD (iz only $0.99 btw. You should totally support mah boyfriend@!) Sound quality is way better on Amazon dl, btw. Srsly.
btw - If anybody has an opinion on the new layout for genius_lessons lemme know, k? I kinda liked the way it looked in the preview, but I can't get the fucking header to show up and.. and.. idk... it's just the older one was more... I don't fucking know. I just can't decide if I really like it or if I should find something else or just go back to the way it was.. Opinions?
Not looking forward to going back to work tomorrow nite. Monday nite they had me on my hands and knees scrubbing the fucking baseboards. Note that every damn wall has them and most of the floors are stone tiles, so my knees, back, and wrists were fucking killing me. I only got the lobby part done and the one doorway and left my suggestion with Kathy in the morning that maybe Dayna could do some as well, since she also wouldn't have much laundry (which is why they gave me that shit to do). Couple this with the fact they've started password protecting the compy in the back office (which I was using to catch up lj, email & such). I would throw rocks, but my arms are still kinda tired.. *whine*
I don't wanna sound like a big whiney baby and all, but where are you, flist? *cries* It seems I am receiving no comment luv lately. Are you still there? Have I gotten too damn boring and so nobody is reading anymore? Mayhaps I should fabricate some drama to appear more interesting? Nah. Too far removed from high school to bother... *failz*
