(no subject)
So, this is a few days late.
I woke up Saturday morning way too early (8:30am) and showered, washed my car, ate breaksfast and got back to my dorm at 9:30. I had enough time to sit down before the phone rang telling me that the Free Delivery kids (Tony Shirley, Kyle Holmquist, Rob Petinelli, Josh Lyford, Joe Grogan, Luis ..., Jay(?) Sealey, Cory Welker, Christine Kozloski and Eric Baun) were almost down here. I ended up pulling into the Steak N Shake parking lot at the same time they did. We said our hellos and walked to McDonald's so everyone could eat. After that we headed down to Louisville to ride bicycles.
We finally made it to Louisville around 2:00pm. Unloaded and rode for a while. I tried to ride. It didn't work very well at all. That park is big and I was confused as to what I should try. Tony had his shit together and had a grill and hot dogs. We ate hot dogs.. I ate too many. I felt sick and dizzy. I wanted to ride the big bowls and full pipe area later in the day but felt like shit so I ended up shooting some inverts and downside whips with Baun. We finally left around 7:00pm back for Columbus.
Got to the hotel at 11:00pm and checked in. Loaded up into two rooms. I stayed with Kyle, Rob, Luis and Christine. Somewhere in there Tony busted out the grill again in the room and made spaghetti. It was a good midnight snack. We went to bed soon after. Our room didn't hear it... but apparently the other room was woke up by some lady at the hotel next door screaming and running naked through the parking lot as four guys chased her and ultimately dragged her back into the room. They scrambled to see what they could do and called the police... who never showed up.
Woke up early, made it to Waffle House a little before 11:00 and ate. Noon rolled around and we showed up at The Flow as they opened and headed in. Lots of good stuff was done by the Free Delivery kids. I shot six rolls of film. It was a fun day. Chipotle was had afterwards. I lost $5 playing c-lo. They all packed up and headed back to Cory's for the night.
I made it home, showered and went out to see Cursed with Samantha. It was such a cheesy movie but still good.
The weekend... was great. I had so much fun. I got to see a lot of old friends and meet some new ones. I shot many photos and from what I can see on my negatives I have some good prints. I'll develop prints after I return next week. This weekend I'll be in Toronto for the Metro Jam. It will be great hopefully. I'm heading home Thursday night and leaving first thing Friday morning. The Grange is on again. We may have Heather and Christina from Massachusetts staying in our closet. We'll see I guess. Two good weekends in a row. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
