I thought I felt you when you said your mom watches procedural things. For whatever reason because my parents do not. But my dad has started watching the ID channel-- "Investigative Discovery" aka 24/7 Spouses Who Kill Each Other-- as the thing to put on when there's nothing on. I'm like, old man, is there something ur concerned about?

My brother got his license Monday and on the way home we somehow got to a point in conversation where he said that our dad's brothers better at his wedding. I think I had just previously asked if we'd even met our dad's youngest brother. So I was rather baffled as to why he'd so fiercely want someone we weren't even sure we'd met (bro claims we may have when we were younger, but still, we don't even remember?) at his wedding. He said it was because they were family. For the secondborn, this kid is sure down with the status quo.
