Hi Theresa!!!
My name is Mikanh Gaffney and I am part of a rescue organization for stranded whales and dolphins called the Texas Marine Mammal Stranding Network. Recently, we had a calf strand near South Padre Island and was relocated to the Texas State Aquarium Second Chances Rehabilitation facility where my organization worked around the clock to give "Bea" the care she needed.
This was my first "long term" rehabilitation since moving to Corpus. Any other rehabs I've been a part of have been short term (less than one week) where as this one lasted 51 days. I took it upon myself to sign up for the overnight shifts, mostly because it was peaceful and I knew those were the harder shifts to find volunteers for. During multiple overnight shifts, there would be activity within the building that would not make sense... such as the sound of a coke bottle falling on the ground, but there weren't any bottles on the floor when we would go look... or voices walking behind the observation deck, shadows of individuals walking in and out of the bathroom area, etc. After finally bringing this up to my head supervisor, she told me that there are spirits within the building and that experiences with them were a common thing. There was an agreement that there was at least one adult male and female (relation to one another unknown), and ideas on how many young boys were in the building. Some suggest one, others say up to three.
Although this shook me a bit, I have experienced spirit in the past throughout my life, so I was more open to receiving messages from them. I've even reached out to them for help with the rehab. "Bea" was having a very rough period and I asked the spirits to be in the tank with her to help her swim and make it through the night. When the morning crew came in, they asked me what I did because she had looked better than the night before, and I told them that I got help from my additional overnight crew.
My fear, or maybe I should say concern, is that these souls and spirits in the building are lost souls. I don't know much about lost souls, but I do know that the location of the rehab facility is out in the middle of nothing and that before our facility was built there along with the mineral refinery, it was potential dumping grounds long before Corpus was a city.
The address is 4230 Rincon Road, Corpus Christi, TX 78402.
I saw that you were coming to town in October. The location of the American Bank Center where you will do your show is a stones throw away from this facility. If there was any way you would be willing to go by, I would be beyond happy to contact everyone in charge to make this possible.
These spirits have been in the building for years and I just want to know that they're ok. I've been with my organization for almost 6 years, and they say the spirits have been there longer than they can remember.
Again, my contact information is:
