[OPEN LOG] Halloween

Halloween night sees the Academy grounds lit up with lights from hundreds of flickering jack-o-lanterns as they illuminate the paths through the gardens and maze. Inside the school, the largest (above ground) sports hall and games room have been decorated still further with streamers and multicoloured lights. In the latter location, a band stand

Kite: the weeping angel

Kite stood outside, well away from the entrance to the party, but still within clear view of everyone on their way to it. His costume was almost perfect, the only part he hadn't managed to get looking like stone being the inside of his mouth. The specialty contacts had taken some getting used to, but they hid the whites of his eyes perfectly. Relying on the nocturnal birds indigenous to the campus, he stayed perfectly still as long as anyone was looking at him. Arthur was waiting for him by the door, and Kite was admittedly curious as to whether or not his falcon had managed to draw Vivaldi away from the bandstand to act as an extra set of eyes for once he made it inside. Hearing that no one was looking at him, Kite moved swiftly, striking a statuesque pose as soon as he felt anyone turn to look at him. Currently, his movements were erratic, though there was one simple theme. Stay away from the door. For now, anyway.

He had only looked away for a moment, but the young samurai found himself alone without Sanada and near a strange looking statue. He could have sworn that it hadn't been there on any of his jogs, so it was another prop for this stupid party. Eyeing it, he frowned. "Creepy thing."

He adjusted the bokken tied at his side and turned to take out his cellphone from where he stashed it in the front of his kimono and started to text his boyfriend.

Grinning to himself as the young warrior looked away, Kite moved in quickly, striking a terrifying pose just as the samurai turned to look again.

Kaidoh felt the hair on the back of his neck stand up straight, there was something creepy behind him, and he could just feel it. Taking a deep breath, he glanced into the phone and saw the statue had change. Before he could think logically he leveled a punch right for the thing's stomach. "YOU CAN'T HAVE MY SOUL!"

Dropping character for a moment, Kite instinctively blocked the blow aimed at his stomach. Giving Kaidoh an impressed look, he relaxed and held up his hands in a placating manner. "Easy now."

Blinking at the block, he backed down a bit as he realized a demon would have ripped his arm off and made him eat it. So, it was logically a student in there. "..sorry. You surprised me." He bowed, a slight blush forming as he admitted to being afraid at all.

"No offense, but that was the plan. It's good to know I can be as scary as I need to be for this costume." Smiling behind his stone gray makeup, Kite dipped his head a bit.

"Yeah....you are definitely unsettling." Kaidoh mumbled, toying with the end of Sanada's bokken before looking up again. "You see Sanada-sempai in the last few minutes?"

"I think he went toward the sports hall. That's where the bulk of the party is." Kite smiled and pointed a long nail in the direction Kaidoh needed to go.

[serpents_bite]

"Thank you. Uh....cool costume...." Kaidoh bowed and turned, on a mission to go find his boyfriend and pretend he hadn't just looked like a complete scaredy cat.

"Thank you." Kite smiled easily before slipping back into character and hiding his face in his hands.

Akaya decided that some fresh air wouldn’t hurt anyone, he didn’t quite like indoors if it wasn’t a big screen and a console involved, anyway. He had sneaked a BB gun and really wanted to try and inside the main room there were many breakable things. The maze was definitely a creepy place without Fuji-sempai being Halloween night; so he was wandered in the opposite direction. If only he could find a nice quiet place where he could try to charge only the bullets instead of the whole gun, it would be great…

Glancing out of the corner of his eye as one of the nearby owls hooted, Kite was pleased to see a new victim approaching. Waiting for the pirate to focus on something else, he moved quickly. This time, he opted to stay a little farther away from the other student, though his pose was still malicious.

Loading the weapon, Akaya looked around to spot any possible target to aim for when he saw something grey reflecting the moonlight. He walked closer and cringed when he was close enough to make up what it was in the darkness. “Tsk, creepy statute…” But he was not damaging school property and end up in detention, not this night at least, he turned around to find something else he could use.

As soon as the other had turned, Kite moved again. Looming right behind the smaller teen, he posed as if in mid attack.
