too late the hero
so I'm back from the field..for now.. I'll be back monday. hey, at least I get to train this time. doin the TRAP course (which correctly stands for Tactical Recovery of Aircraft and Personnel) so yea..like rescuing downed pilots and things. some survival instructors are going to hunt us. I'll be equipped with a whistle, a flashlight, and a compass..with all that I think I stand a good chance of survival.
quite a few interesting things happend this week..but theres no way to go through it all without boring someone to death..so basically just did a lot of basic working party things, i.e. move this over there and back again, set up tents,create sandtables,set up a demolitions range, sleep outside(some of it in the rain), be ammo guard (which I did for 12.5 hours on wednesday), and thursday I helped set up this mock terrorist training camp..
other than that...there are so many things in the air right now..it feels like I unexpectedly left home and still have pets and plants at home..dying..and I left the stove on..its such a terrible feeling..makes me feel so powerless over the whole situation.
I wish my entries can just always become more and more meaningful as time goes on..but alas.. this is not how it is..or.. whatever. it is what i make it..and right now..i gotta get outta here
