Ladytron *604*
Whether you see Ladytron as electro-pop or synth-pop, it does not change the fact that *604* is an amazing and inventive album. This album has always been in the wings of my rotation, and it's suprising that it hasn't made it in the top rotation list.
Comet Gain *Sneaky*
For those of you who have been following my journal for a while, I am sure you are well aware that I adore Comet Gain. Though I could never narrow down an exact list of my favorite musical artists, I'm sure Comet Gain would be near the top.
Swearing at Motorists *This Flag Signals Goodbye*
I first found out about this band when they were on tour and came through Detroit. This is a great album, and only shows further that there is hope for the new wave of rock 'n' roll.
The Cure *Concert: Cure Live*
What I wouldn't give to have the chance to see the Cure live. Until that day, this album will have to do. It's an amazing album all around. I was impressed upon first listen just how good the Cure were/are live...but then again, it's Cure.
The Jealous Sound*The Jealous Sound*
Calling all fans of Knapsack. After Knapsack's suprise break-up, frontman Blair Sheehan, started the Jeaklous Sound, and released this 5 tracked EP. Same raspy voice, grating guitar work, and great beats.
The Lemonheads *Hate Your Friends*
Ok, before you diss on the Lemonheads, I strongly suggest picking up this album. If you do not like this album, then be my guest and bad-mouth Evan Dando and his band all you want.
