that weasel face captaino finally stopped ducking me. we finally played today, and he currently leads 2:1 in a match that was called on account of inlaws. he won the 1st game in an ugly game that set scrabble back about 30 years, then bagged me in the 2nd game and i had the run of play in the 3rd. we hope to finish up the match early next week. i need to

ideally i'd rather not be playing a 1900 rated player in the first round of the tournament!

but nah, i am an advocate of the open format we created. i have no issues with it. some other people have said i have a bad draw. my point is that i am not concerned at all about it. i need to play better.
