Moving on up
Woohoooooooo! Jon (Fin) and I are moving this weekend. Bigger place... 2 floors!!! Jon and I have been slowly moving the last couple days, last night we picked out which of the 2!!! bedrooms would be our bedroom and which would be the office. As usual in these scenarios, my plan for spacing the room won out! We said good bye to the latest kitties last night. I loved Shasta and Whitney a bunch, but we couldn't have them while we moved so we turned them over to other foster families. We've decided not to do foster kitties for a while, I think Fin is getting sick of getting attached and then having to give them up. My dad's up this weekend, and he seemed hesitant to get here very early on Sunday, which mom informed me was because he didn't wan't to help us move. Silly bean, I called him and said we prolly wouldn't make him do too much.
You may have noticed I seem to be stressing the Jon/Fin thing. He introduces himself to everyone as Fin, which I find odd. Since moving out here I've meet a number of people who introduce themselves by their nickname, without mentioning their real name, and it just seems odd. Now half my co-workers call him Fin and half call him Jon and it's very confusing. I've started calling him Fin more often, is that odd? Although my favorite name for him is Jonathan von Poofenstien. I love it.
