A Special Kind of Love (5/?)

Summary: Like everyone knows, love is love, right? But Baekhyun and Chanyeol just have that special kind of love, full of fluffy hearts and rainbows and happiness. Everyone likes a good drabble fic, right?
Comfort Cave
The moment Baekhyun walked in the door after a long day of work, Chanyeol immediately knew there was something off. Baekhyun didn’t have the relieved smile of returning to the comfort of their home, but instead kept his head down and a deep frown etched upon his face.
Chanyeol didn’t bother to ask how he was feeling because he knew he’d get a negative response. Instead, he simply got up and silently pulled Baekhyun into a hug.
“Do you want me to make you a cave?” he asked his upset boyfriend, who silently nodded, and then Chanyeol was off.
He went to the closet and grabbed as many sheets as he could carry, and began draping them over the couch and a chair so it was like a tent. He grabbed soft blankets to make it cozy and warm, and laid pillows all around so it were almost like a nest. The walls of sheets made it so there was little light shining through, making it feel secure and safe. Perfect.
“You ready?” Chanyeol asked Baekhyun, gently tugging him to the cave and Baekhyun crawled inside, almost immediately relaxing into the nest of blankets and pillows. “Feeling okay?”
“Not really,” Baekhyun sighed tiredly, then held his arms out like a child seeking comfort. “Hold me?”
Chanyeol smiled and followed suit, climbing into the mess of blankets and pulling Baekhyun close, placing a kiss at the top of his head.
“You may be feeling very badly right now, but I’ll always be here to try and make it better,” Chanyeol told him.
“Thank you.”
And in the middle of such a sweet moment, Choco-the newest addition to their family-entered their cave and jumped into Baekhyun’s lap and placing several wet kisses on his face.
“Choco wants to make sure you’re feeling okay, too,” Chanyeol laughed, finding the whole scene so cute.
And for the first time that evening, Baekhyun cracked a small smile.
