Through the Lost Art of the Toast...
The way my life has been...has always been...is going to change next Thursday. There will be divine music, champagne, fine dining, new faces, and a new life. A new life, home, perspective, opportunities.
I can't believe it's really happening. ...I can't believe it's really happening.
It took almost a year to start; there were no presents, there was harassment, there were health scares and hospital visits, there were tears and unpaid bills. Broken promises and disconnection. There was a state of being desperate.
But now...it's all wiped away. Through trials, much suffering and struggle...we are here to reap the benefits of our patience and faith.
So...through the lost art of the toast, I will make one. To the future. May it be everything I've always wanted and more. Finally.
