"Great Grama and Grampa"
I never knew your thoughts--
Nor saw you everyday--
Yet know I how much you loved me,
Since you always knew what to say.
I never got to say goodbye--
Nor be there with you two--
Yet I wish I visited all the time,
And I hope you know I love you.
"Fluffy"
Since I was a little child
I've held you tight by my side,
Even if you acted wild,
You couldn't leave me if you tried.
We would always play together,
I'd even hide you in the hamper,
You were as light as a feather,
And you'd always try to scamper.
Every day was full of joy,
And now I feel lost as can be--
You were like my favorite toy,
Yet meant so much more to me.
