A tradition in my family every Thanksgiving, is to go around the table telling the rest one thing your thankful for that year much like the rest of America.
That is only if your family is as lame and corny as mine.
This year when the question " Alex, What are you thankful for?".. comes around the table and hits me..
I think the best response would be.. "What am i not thankful for?
Honestly, I mean.. though I vent into this journal day after day.. I really could not ask for a better life then I live. Im so thankful and grateful for all that i have, I dont show it often but since this is the "day of thanks".. i would like to share it with you all..
I'm not going to sit here and write a huge long entry (actually it might be a tad bit long) and type out a huge long list of everything I'm thankful for because I do not want to waiste my time.. and the majority of you would probably not end up reading it..
So lets just say this.. if you are a part of my life in any way, shape, of form..I am MORE than thankful to have you as a part of my life. Thankful is not even the correct word to express how much I appreciate all of you sharing my life with me.
Often times when I read entries.. its over and over again "I hate my life.. I hate guys..I hate my friends.. I hate my parents..I hate my family..There is no need for me to be alive.. including I write these entries.
And today I realize, where would we all be today.. without life, without your parents, without your family, without guys (well we can do without them hah).. So many people would kill to have a life like ours... even to have PARENTS or A FAMILY.
Today as many of you may saw.. President Bush made a trip to Afghanistan to thank the troops for risking their lives for their country America.
And it really got me thinking.. life is so precious and everyone takes advantage of it like its priceless.
But its worth more than anything and all i have to say is i am thankful for having a LIFE to share with the most amazing people in the world.
