back for the duration
I'm back in Indy. My dad is still in the hospital, they should be putting in a trach tube in the next couple of days. He'll be on the ventilator for awhile. I don't plan on going back up to Chesterton for any extended period of time in the near future.
I'd be surprised if he's still alive this time next year.
This weekend has been pretty good since I got back. Kindra and I went to see Live Free or Die Hard this weekend at the dollar theater. On Sunday we had dinner at Scott and Gwen's house. It's really nice except for the toxic golf course part of things. It's very wide open and airy. I also got the drop bars fully installed and tested on my bike. It's GREAT! I rode around the block a few times and tested the shifting on both sides, better than it was before. Pink bar tape and all.
I'm glad to be back.
