Well, most of my stuff is here at Mom and Dad's now. I've done like 10 loads of laundry to wash away all the stinky smoke from my clothes, and I probably have like 4 loads to go. There are still some clothes and things at Gram and Pop's that I'll be getting on Wednesday, and hopefully James and I will be moving my computer and my desk over here on Friday.
I'm spending my first night here tonight. My futon is all made up, because I'm not sure Melanie can jump up to my top bunk anymore. If I find she can, I'll sleep up there, but until then I'll be spending my nights on my futon.
Melanie is here! I got a little teary-eyed taking her from Gram and Pop, especially when they were kissing her goodbye and telling her they'd miss her. She didn't want to go, but that's because she hates outside and probably thought we were going to the vet. She's fine here now. There have been no fights with Cassie, and Dixie is gone forever to Aunt Donna's, so I won't have to worry about Melanie being chased by the dog. She can hold her own against Cassie.
She's watching me type tonight. I wanted to post a picture of her. I think she'll re-adjust to the house just fine. =)
