Fall, with you I fall so fast....
So... I'm finally getting my lazy butt around to updating this. So camping with ash= amazing! School last week= suckage, only good thing is that we got free ice cream at lunch on friday! woot! Yeah so basically what happened September 3-6:
Friday:
We get out of school and have to wait for like 30 mins for Ash's dad to come get us (that was super fun...) and then we drive to her mom's work and then we leave for Fort McCoy. So bascially Ash and i talked about the Germany trip for like 2 hours straight lol (we're almost possitively going to Germany summer of '05 with our german class). Then we get to the campground finally after like 3 1/2- 4 hours of driving (its right in between Tomah and Sparta [not that anyone knows where those are anyway]). So her mom is like hey thats not your Uncle Steve's camper over in their spot, they must of moved them. So she sends me and ash to the camp host to make sure thats still our spot (which she told us nothing). So then we got back and her mom is like this is weird cuz Steve usually gets here like atleast an hour before us. So she called ash's Aunt Jan (Steve's wife) to see whats going on and her aunt is flipping out on the phone. So her moms like get in the car NOW and we have no idea whats going on. And it turns out her uncle got in this HUGE car accident with her cousin when they went out to go get some fire wood. What happened was they were waiting to turn off the highway (there isn't a turn lane so you kinda have to stop on the road) so they were stop on the road and a lady wasn't paying attention (they think she was changing a cd) and was speeding and she didn't realize they were there till it was too late so she hit them from behind, went under the truck, and came out where the rear passenger wheel is. So her car was like totalled obviously. It was like squished down to my waist. But her uncle and cousin were ok which is really good. But their truck is totalled too cuz the frame is all screwed up. But her aunt wanted us to go down there and pick up Alex (ash's cousin) in case the lady was dead or something so he wouldn't have to see that. But when we got down there they had everything blocked off and we were the only people they let through cuz they weren't letting anyone leave or come in to the campground. So we like get down there and there were 20 fire engines and like a million ambulences and cop cars and stuff like that and we saw the flight for life take off like 20 feet in front of us with the lady in it. It was actually so scary. But it turns out all that happened to the lady is that her left arm was totally shattered so they had to like rebuild it... she got so lucky. So they had the road closed off for like a million hours cuz they had to process the accident scene and reinact it and stuff like that so no one could drive thru and we hadn't eaten anything since like 10:30 that day for lunch. So thank god that pizza hut is open till 12 am cuz we definately didn't eat din din till 11:30 pm. It sucked.
Saturday:
On Saturday we had to go dump car place thing and get all the wood and stuff out of Uncle Steve's car. Then we went to McDonald's for lunch (notice the trend in "camping food" we eat? lol). Then ash and i went swimming and jumped on the water trampolines for like 2 hours. Then we went on like 5 walks and rode the see saw for like 10 hours hahah then funniest thing EVER happened. Me, Ash, and Matt (her cousin hes a year younger than us) decided it'd be fun to go play at the park at like 11 pm lol so we're up by the slide things and all of a sudden ash starts screaming and we're like what? and shes like OMG there's someone in the tube!!! and so matt looks in and hes like umm hi? and the kids like hi... and then ash's like why are you in there and hes like I'm lonely and so were like umm ok so me and matt went and started playing Tic Tac Toe on one of those giant board things and then all of a sudden ash is like shhh guys listen and we could hear the kid making noises (i, of course, assume hes like having sex or something so i'm like wtf) and shes like hes crying so matts like nikki go see if hes ok so i go over there and i'm like are you ok? and he doesn't say anything so i'm like are you ok? again and he like flies out of the tube, down the slide and is like retard running away yelling; LEAVE ME ALONE!!! so we're like wtf and he ran towards the bathroom so we told matt to go in there and see if he's in there but he didnt' wanna go alone so we went back to the campsite and got Jimmy (ash's brother) and they went in there but he wasn't there so we were walking around and these 2 kids come riding up to us on bikes and they're like have you seen a kid crying anywhere? and we're like OMG yeah!!! and the one kids liek thats my little brother... his gramma just died. so we're like oh thats too bad and the kids like if you see him tell him to come back to his campsite so we're like ok. so we keep walking and all of a sudden the kid comes retard running past us again crying and the other kid on the bike is riding after him going: It's ok man everyone dies. So then i went to ash omg that kid is the same kid as the one on the bike so we figured out they were like making this whole thing up. SO we decided to go play volleyball with Matt and Jimmy and Alex and bury me in the sand and give me sand boobs (don't ask) and so all of a sudden we see the 2 kids walking down the beach and i was like HEY GUYS!!! WANT SOME SAND BOOBS!?!?!?! and then we started talking to them and they turned out to be sooo awesome!! (Hi Evan and Randall!!!!! =0D) Then me ash, and matt slept outside by the fire... it was so fun and wasn't even cold (unlike last time)... then alex was nice enough to take pictures of me and ash sleeping... really happy about that one...
Sunday
Sunday we met Evan and Randall at the beach at 11 am SHARP! lol and then we went out on the water trampolines for like an hour then we went tubing down the falls (a little waterfall) with them, at which i bruised both knees and scraped up my right leg and possibly bruised my right leg bone from tripping off a drop off in the water... it was great lol then we went back on the water trampolines and hung out there till 6:30 and we were all so sun burnt... then ash and i got ice cream and Evan and Randall had to leave :( lol then we played on the swings and see saw till it was night time and then we went to bed cuz it was raining out
Monday:
We had to stay inside for the little time we were there cuz it was raining really hard and then we took the long way home so it took like 5 1/2 hours to get back... so ash and i just slept lol
all in all that weekend was amazing... can't wait till next year!! Evan and Randall... you better visit soon!!!!!!
