It's been awhile, but not much has been going on other then school and work. That is Until this weekend.
This past week
Bekah's brother
Josiah had his friend
Clara come into town and Bekah decided to show them a good time by taking them to couple spots over the weekend.
It was a long but fun weekend that started (for me at least) on Friday afternoon. After I got out of school we all headed down to Baltimore and the inner harbor. We had plans to do a number of different things in that area but ended up most of our time at the
Science Center. It was so worth it though. I hadn't been there in awhile and had forgotten how much fun everything in there was. Bekah had talked about an arcade that had a bunch of old video games that were free to play and I was stoked to be able to play some of my old favorites for free, but when we got to where the map AND signs said it would be there was nothing but an exhibit for your senses. Bekah asked around about what had happened to the arcade and no one seemed to even know that there was an arcade. Oh well. While at the harbor we also ate at the Cheese Cake Factory which was awesome. The food was great and so was the cheese cake. We came back to my place and ended up playing some guitar hero and watching Mallrats.
Saturday I had to work in the morning which was the first time I had to open in at least a month. Then it was off to a church picnic. There was a lot of good food there, mainly junk food like Bekah's awesome chocolate chip cookie dough and grape cotton candy. There was also a big water slide type thing that as Bekah put it "smelled like rotting". We left there to go to
Tauzin's birthday party. I got to see a couple people that I hadn't in years and was also introduced to
sing star which I was horrible at because I can't sing in front of people. We ended up leaving a little early and coming back to my place again to play more games.
Sunday consisted of taking our moms out to see
Hairspray which lead to Bekah wanting to see
Cry Baby which we did while eating delicious french fry pizza.
Which leads us to Monday. After school we headed out to
Hershey Park for the twilight hours. Those 4 hours flew by in a whirl wind of roller coaster riding. The newest coaster there, the storm runner, was insane....INSANE. We also did chocolate world of course where we all got some delicious chocolate. The night ended with us all grabbing some dinner at a diner right down the street from the park and then drove home on a beautiful night.
It was a good weekend with good people. Hopefully within a couple days I'll be posting some pics of most of this.
