Thanks to everyone who commented on my entry earlier today, and to those of you who came on MSN and texted me. I really appreciated it. I've deleted that post now, as it was making me uneasy being able to see it on my 'recent entries' page, but thank you all.

Meanwhile in crazy land... Watch me spam your friends pages with amateur poetry I can't be arsed cutting!

"Life Plans"

Dress me in white frills
like a proper girl
And,
when mud and grass remain
we can blame it on the earth
(as it’s true)

Raise me with ancient religion
to instill great faith
Then,
if I inquire about death
recall the Gods
(to reassure me)

Teach me how to listen
so friends come easy
And smile,
like parents do
when I help other people
(like I should)

Let me live apart from you
and be my own woman
But help,
when I crawl home broken
and never trust another man
(because of him)

Keep me close to you always
like family should
And,
let me travel too, and teach
a faith not so common
(but important)

Watch as I surrender
to everyone’s desires
And
I shake and crumble with the strain
of human issue on my shoulders
(and age quickly)

Bury me in white satin
for a fresh start
Then,
when my body ‘gain is tainted,
I can blame it on the earth
(and not him)

See me off in a wooden boat
to another life
And please,
place silver coins upon my eyes
as payment
(for the Ferryman)

Burn my bone-aching body
so I don’t linger
Then go,
and release me on the wind
so I may fly at last
(to freedom)

Hopefully anyone who read that understood that it was about three different people, turn by turn. Otherwise, I fail XD  And jeez, this journal has really become a sort of dumping ground for whatever random shit my mind cooks up at 4am. Oh well.

Anyways, I guess the only thing of note in my life right now is, OH MY GOD, I'm going to a super outdoor concert on Saturday in which I get to see The Cruel Sea, Kate Miller-Heidki, BOB EVANS, BEN LEE and... someone else random I can't remember XD  Quite exciting. I love Bob and Ben so, so much (they even pointlessly have their own tags). Unfortunately I know basically nothing about The Cruel Sea and they have equal top billing with Ben Lee, but he plays before them. I'm sure they're good though.

Now I'm off to wait impatiently for the TMC author reveals over at fedal_slash.
