So this is how I act around new people:
The initial meet.
I meet you. I probably don't talk. I stand around you, laugh at your jokes, listen to your stories. But I don't contribute to the conversation at all. I just kinda stand in my spot and do my thing.
The goodbye.
Eventually I will have to say goodbye. Maybe we made a little conversation, or you cornered me into it, so we talked a little. If you did this, then our goodbye will be a bleak little hug, and an "I hope I see you again." Kinda thing. But if I didn't talk to you at all, the goodbye will probably be very small if not at all.
The aftermath.
I find you on MySpace. I find you on Facebook. AIM. AIJ. Somewhere. Then we talk. It is a lot easier for me to talk to you.
Chances are this is how I met you. I can't tell if it is a good thing, but I am pretty sure everyone of my friends now, with the exception of Brendan, were made this way. I would like to not be all skiddish and shy, I will work on it though. <3
