It's the summer time.
I need to start acting like it is.
Through all the bullshit, all you can do is try to make things right. Fuck the drama, you gotta be all about some livin'. Tonight I chilled with someone I haven't hung out with in quite a while, and remembered that I have a number of friends I don't see that much anymore. Well fuck that! It's time to chill niggers and niggerettes.
On a final note before I smoke another cig and hopefully pass out (haha)...my passion for music is completely renewed. I hadn't lost it but I have been so caught up with other things that it almost took the backseat in my list of priorities. I must play immediately. Then you can all see what I'm really all about.
I'm seeking one guitarist, one bassist, and a drummer. It would be really good if all can scream, sing, and one needs to be able to do lows as well. Must be really open-minded to all styles of music, I'm not trying to have a scene hardcore band. What I write and play draws from pretty much all music, music is MUSIC (unless its shitty) and I think genres are something made to be broken down. You don't have to be ridiculously good, but able to jam and collaborate well. Also you gotta be down with using other instruments at some points in songs or even for an entire song...I'm open to anything.
Guitarist - if you're a guitarist and you even want to be in this kind of band, you know what to do.
Bassist - same applies. Definitely have to know how to play funky shit, slap and pop and all that.
Drummer - gotta rip at double bass and blastbeats, and be a fan of Fishman (if you don't know who Fishman or even Phish is, nope!)
