1. What was your first cosplay?
Oh jebus - going BACK in the day! 2005, I did it for Halloween, and I later wore it to Tekkoshocon 2006 (for the four or so hours I was there - WHOLE WEEKEND WHUT). I made myself Jill Valentine from Resident Evil 3. The entire thing was bought - a thrift store skirt that my mother helped me hike up really high (LOL I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW HOW TO HEM). I remember finding that plain blue tube top was almost IMPOSSIBLE. I had a BLAST in that thing, and even though I haven't worn her in ages, I keep her on hand just in case!
2. Did someone get you into cosplay? Or on your own?
I got myself into the idea of dressing up like a cartoon/video game character, but honestly, I have to say my friend Bridget (or Beergit, as we affectionately refer to her) was the person who brought me into the world of "This is awesome, and you don't need an excuse to do it". Someday girl, we will ROCK those two Motokos!
3. What is your favourite cosplay?
Each one I do has a very particular fond memory attached to it, but I'd have to go with the Doll Factory Boss from Condemned 2 if I'm going for the one I'm most proud of the end result. I REALLY should have crashed that Dolfie panel with those baby dolls... If I'm going for what I've had the most fun in, I'm probably gonna have to go with
4. Which is your least favourite?
Angel Morte Satoko (Higurashi/When They Cry) I love the series, I love the outfit, but couple the fact that I was in a bodysuit, trying to pass for a what, 10 year old girl? Wasn't the best idea (then again, wasn't MY idea...) It was my first costume that involved "petals" which look great, but are a bitch, and I was kinda left to figure out how I was doing them on my own, so they kinda turned out shitty, lol. I honestly don't think I looked "shitty", but I've liked myself better in other things...
5. At conventions, do people compliment you on your cosplays?
I honestly feel the number of people who compliment me is directly proportionate to the amount of my breasts that are showing... My quality isn't the best, but I think between picking "interesting" things to do with my anatomy (ala Eve, who was kinda grand titty central, but..."don't know if want..." and Doll) or me doing characters that are silly/liked for the blatantly shameless sexuality (like Morrigan or Pink) I get an ok amount of compliments. My best "compliments" on my costumes have come from the awesome ones feytaline has made for me! Like Kimono Morrigan and Chua Astoram (bat guitar MOTHERFUCKERS!!!!)
6. How many have you done?
If we're counting things I've compiled from existing materials (aka closet cosplay, which I AM counting because it's every bit as legitimate so long as you don't tell people you've made things yourself) we have Jill Valentine (Resident Evil 3: Nemesis - compiled), Sae Kurosawa (Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly - made), Marta (Fullmetal Alchemist - compiled), Terra Branford (Final Fantasy VI -made), Satoko Hoshi Angel Morte (Higurashi - made), Motoko Kusinagi (Ghost in the Shell - compiled), The Doll Factory Boss (Condemned 2: Bloodshot - made), Morrigan Aensland (Vampire Savior - made), Eve (Parasite Eve - made), Morrigan - Kimono variant (Cross Edge - made by feytaline ) , Chua Astoram (ChuxChu Idol - made by feytaline ), Rhyme (The World Ends With You - compiled with heavy altering to the shirt), Trianna Orpheus (Venture Brothers - compiled)
7. What are the top 5 on your list of "Want to Cosplay"?
1) Dianna Sorriel (Turn A Gundam) - Happening at Otakon this year with terranell IN A BIG POOFY DRESS - I CANNOT WAIT TO GET EATEN BY YOUR KIHEL DRESS OF DOOM AND RINGLETTS OF RAMPAGE!!!
2) Millenia (Grandia II) - SOMEDAY - but I DO NOT want to rush this, or cop out on fabric/supplies - so I might be an old lady when I eventually get to her, but it'll happen someday!
3) Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind - I think she's going to be a work in progress for a while, but again, because I don't want to rush her!
4) Melona (Queen's Blade) - Do I really need to explain this one? Lol
5) The Tattooed Priestess (Fatal Frame III) Not my favorite of the Fatal Frame entries, but by no means a bad game! I love this character though, because in addition to being beautiful, if not terrifying, she really, REALLY is a tragic character, and I felt SO bad for her...
8. What female cosplay do you want to do most?
Right now, in the forseeable future, it's Melona from Queen's Blade. I really want to make Millenia from Grandia II like no other, but I need to see how the next year goes before I even begin to commit myself to that. I need to secure a couple of other costumes that don't fall apart before I go anywhere NEAR that goal...
9. What male cosplay do you want to do most?
Sgt. Cosgrove to go with Joel's eventual Freakazoid. Shit will be SO much fun...
10. What do you prefer to do, make or buy your costumes?
Making is ultimately the most satisfactory thing, but life's been kind of hectic, and I've had a LOT of fun in costumes Lindsey made for me, or that I put together :)
11. Your most memorable experience? What makes it so memorable?
I have a couple - 1) running around Oakland with feytaline in the Cross Edge kimonos,and thepatches taking awesome photos of us, watching Lindsey gush over the dinosaur statue, and her crushing a Prinny in the giant wooden (for lack of better term) throne in the Cathedral of Learning - 2) Having a metric BUTT TON of fun with knuxiechan in Eve and Aya at Ohayocon 2009 - girl is made of SO much fucking fun, and I LOVED how into pictures she got!!!!! I couldn't have lucked out with a better Aya, and made me SO goddamn happy someone else loved that game as much as I did!!! My ultimate favorite experience though, would have been my Tekkoshocon 2010 Masquerade experience. Me and a couple of friends decided to get goofy, and calling ourselves "GO TEAM SEASLUG!" performed "Lament of a Lowly Catgirl At Con" which was a B-L-A-S-T. This was probably my absolute best time in a costume to this point :)
12. Your dream cosplay?Demona, gargoyle form from Disney's Gargoyles. I put this one in the "dream" cosplay apart from "female you want to cosplay the most" because it's gonna require more than a heavy workout regimine - because of the fit of the costume, I wouldn't feel comfortable in this one unless I could get that surgery to remove my extra skin. I got an opportunity to meet someone recently who has had this surgery, and his insurance company even covered it, as he also lost a LOT of weight, and has also kept it off for a while. IF I ever get insurance, I would LOVE this...since even back when I was working out 6 times a week, I never lost certain bits of extra skin, like under my arms...so yeah..."dream" costume...someday...
13. Is there a pattern in your cosplays? If so, what?
Boobs? Lol, well that and I tend to do things either "gorey" or kinda less known - not to be ass-obscure, but because I really love everything that I put cosplay effort into :)

15. What do you prefer? Cosplaying in a group or on your own?
Oh god, EVERY chance I get to be in a group of things I love, I take it! I'll be SO excited if the Queen's Blade group actually happens at Tekko next year!!! And it's gonna be RAD to be in the AWESOME TWEWY group with omegatalon , tattobot and her boyfriend Jason at Otakon, and then cosplay as Pandy with tatto's boyfriend as Retro from Dead Leaves!!!
