Hey people!
I am still alive, I know some of you were doubting. Grad school has pretty much killed any attempt at fandom or a social life. I apologize in advance for neglecting everyone on LJ. Things are easing up as we move into term paper season so that is good for me to catch up. I have WAY too many comments to reply to so if you get a reply from something you posted three months to me, sorry. :)
Really quick, I know I have a few RPers on my list. Is there a community for displaced characters? Like if a character was in a game, the game died, they want to get into a game again? Or any communities where a character could put themselves out there for one-on-one play? This is a Buffyverse character, if that helps. Let me know.
I actually had time to read a fic this week, which was awesome, and now you should read it too! I already recced it on Tumblr but here you go, if you aren't following me over there Ceteris Paribus (All Else Being Equal) by beer_good_foamy
Then three frat boys who had been turned into Ayn Rand fans by magic beer tried to blow up the coffeeshop.
Summary by author: In canon, Buffy and Willow are Psychology majors. Isn’t it funny how that echoes in a lot of the themes in season 4? What if they’d picked a different subject, like… oh, I dunno… Economics? Sure, the story would mostly be the same, but I have a feeling some of the details would be very different indeed. (Genfic, no pairings, Buffy The Vampire Slayer Season Four)
If you have never read anything by Foamy, go, now, and read everything he has ever wrote. He is brilliant. Great use of puns, comedy, and well, everything else. He is an intelligent fan’s fic writer, using vocabulary and metaphor that you aren’t likely to find anyplace else. His wit is sharp as a sword. So why are you still reading me?
Also, if you want, I uploaded Plants vs Zombies, a computer game if anyone wants it and Veronika Decides to Die. Enjoy!
