It honestly was not very hard or complicated, though I searched for about an hour for recipes trying to figure out how to do it just right. In the end, it all boiled down to ( ... )

I figure it'd be easier to just write it up here than to have them search all over the place. XD I thought it would be a lot more complicated, too, but I was pleasantly surprised! It actually turned out looking quite nice, too!

I'd also point out if I forgot to mention that if you're going to put filling in it (meats, veggies, cheeeeeeeese) you do it while there's still a bit of damp egg on top, then flip it over and, as one website told me, let the heat of the egg melt/warm your fillings and finish cooking the rest of the egg. But don't leave it too wet, or it'll just be...well...wet. XD

Our new(er) cookware is also really nonstick, but I used the butter just to make sure. It also adds a little flavor.

i have used a lot of butter in the past for things like this, and with a non-stick frying pan, i definitely would opt for it. but this griddle actually works a LOT better without butter (which seems to make things just fatter and messier). the flavor might be good.

did your lovely girlfriend go "om nom nom" ?
