Alright, this is the last part of our pictures from Brazil. Actually Patricia is supposed to pick up developed negatives today but I’m not sure if I will upload the scans anytime soon. Below are our random shots from the few days we spent in Sao Paulo in between travelling up and down the country. It’s funny because when I think about it right now, it’s Sao Paulo which I miss the most. The food, the streets, the weather and especially the people! If there would be a chance for me to find a job over there and stay for longer, I wouldn’t give it a second thought.
Well, ladies and gents, SOROKO is the best place with vegan ice-creams ever! From what I heard this used to be an average point but since more and more hardcore kids started to ask for vegan ice-creams, the owner finally decided to include a few vegan options and right now he has about 10 different flavours made with soy milk every day. Add to that absolutely vegan waffle-cups, toppings, dressings, amazing acai and there’s no wonder why the place is always packed with ‘core’ looking kids. Did I mention they sell it per weight and for a cup of average sized 8 balls you pay only like 2 GBP.
That’s the owner. When Sheep used to live in Sao Paulo among other places he was also occupying a flat only a few blocks away from Soroko and visiting it at least twice a day he found out that this man speaks Russian.
Another vegan place, this time owned by our friend Tete who opened with the money he got from tattooing in Europe.
His tattoo shop is only like 5 min walking from the restaurant and on the same street as Soroko ice-creams. That’s life!
Yep, they’re both Brazilian.
I keep dreaming about acai every night.

Jefferson, if you’re reading this, can you please let me know where to get guarana soda in London?
Jefferson’s and my arm. I won!
Avenue Paulista, the very centre of Sao Paulo.
And that’s the kind of art the sell on the sidewalk.
China-Town, or should I say Japan-Town.

Rock Galeria is a shopping mall entirely targeted at alternative youth with nothing but a few skate-shops, tattoo shops, bars, shirt-printing offices and the rest are record stores filled with CDs, vinyls, DVDs and of course t-shirts. This is a meeting spot for all kind of metal kids, punks, emo, hard core kids…whoever you can think of.
Yeah, that’s actually one of the store’s name!
The last journey…
…the last meal at Cachoeira Tropical …
…and the last visit at Soroko.
Everything started to suck from this point
