Finally Some Good News
My dad saw the oncologist today and guess what? He's done w/ treatments for now. He gets to go back in 1 month to do some tests to make sure the cancer is gone, but no more chemo for now. Thank goodness too. Dad had booked that vacation for July and I was waiting for them to be like, "uh now sir, you have to have chemo that week." So all's well here for that.
Casey is graduating from college tonight. He's got enough hours to graduate from UACCB w/ something or another. He is now looking for the classes he needs to finish his teaching degree. Hopefully he can find something that won't break his check book. I looked and Lyon and ASU for him and they were between 450-625 dollars per credit hour. Hmm, one thing higher education people, how do you expect people to finish up school when you're so damn expensive? I mean really that's quite over priced.
And we're back at the beginning of my work week. Last week was horrible! No exaggeration, Monday night was probably the worst night of my nursing career.. except for 1 other day that comes to mind. I blame the economy, it's so bad right now no one can afford to go their doctor so they all hit the ER after doctor's offices are closed. I see it getting it worse before it gets better, but hey maybe we'll make it huh?
