Will it ever end?
Oh my gosh! This week has been horrible. So much work. Today was the 1st day off I've had since last Friday. Sunday and Monday were so bad in the ER I thought I was gonna go crazy! Now I've got to work tomorrow night 12 hrs at my other job. I don't even need 2 jobs but I don't want to close the door to Clopton Clinic. If something ever goes wrong at Harris I want something to fall back on.
We hung out w/ SAS, Lori and Wade last weekend and had a blast. I forget how much fun it is hanging out w/ peeps who aren't kids (well we all kind of acted like kids while they were here). We played Apples to Apples. Heh that game is hilarious.
Tonight was soccer practice for Shanley. It's like herding chickens trying to get these kids to do what they are supposed too. Shanley thank goodness is one of the best behaved kids on her team. They played a scrimage game against another team and we totally dominated. I can't wait for Saturday big game. I pick my team to win by 100. Er, ok probably not 100 but 99 at least.
Then we took my Dad to eat Mexican w/ us. He's still in good spirits even though we keep running into problems w/ his treatment. He says at least he's getting over the humps in the beginning of his treatment and not at the end when he's ready to be feeling better. I just want to hurry up and get him in remission. Bobbie is super worried, even though she's trying to act brave for all of us kids.
Nikki was glad to have me home tonight. She said it was nice to have a conversation that didn't involve "MAMA!" or "WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!" I'm surprised that she has been able to stay sane w/ me working so much. I'm a pretty lucky guy to have her.
