In the heat of the night...or day?

Or is it both?  Today is now April 20th.  It's just a day in the month, to me making it "officially" Late April, a Wednesday, Hump Day.

But 4/20?

I swear I'm going to get a secondhand high on my own fucking floor, never mind in Southwest.  If you look carefully, you'll see a large cloud hovering over Upper Central in the late afternoon tomorrow.  I ( Read more... )

UMass IS a joke. to prove my point, the person commenting to Paul's post won't even post their name! bitch bitch bitch, but sit around and smoke weed and think it's saying something/making a statement. when people start working in the REAL world, and parents aren't paying for everything, it's a whole other story.

Paul DOES have an idea what he's basing it on, and they are same things I base what I believe in.

I work, and will be transferring to a school that takes life a bit more seriously. they won't have "walk outs" or Extravaganga. the kids don't wear sweat pants all day long, or skirts that barely cover the underwear (if any) underneath. they have pride and self-respect and realize there's more to life than whining about things for the sake of whining and sounding "enlightened." for whoever the poster is, I'm curious to see what you'll be saying 10 years from now. that is of course, assuming you don't walk out on school entirely and spend all your time marching in parades... as someone that's lived in all parts of this country, I can honestly say UMass is it's own entity in a lot of respects. attitude, dress style, way of life, etc is a bubble for this area. it's going to be a shock for most when they graduate (if they make it through...) how the real world functions.

Paul wasn't liberal bashing, your emotions got in the way (as they do with most liberals) and it became an issue because someone was speaking their mind which didn't agree with your own beliefs. isn't that what being liberal is: seeing all sides and accepting people for their differences? funny how that never plays out and people on the other side have to conform to your own beliefs or we're the "close minded" sect. a bit ironic, don't you think?
