Cherry Bomb
Lots of things have been going on latley. Alot good, some not that great.
This past week we've all been freaking out because nobody could find my grandma. See, she went down to Florida with some of my family members, and once there she met up with her sister (my aunt) and they both hopped in a rental car and headed to Georgia to visit some other relatives. Well, she was gone for almost a week and didn't bother to call anyone to let us know of her whereabouts. To make matters worse, my aunt she was traveling with has early signs of alzheimer's and neither had a cell phone. This was very uncharicteristic behavior of her, so we were all a bit paniced by the 5th day. Then out of the blue she calls me here at the house, much to my relief she was ok. I told her if she ever did something like that again I'd break her hip.... eventhough truth be told she could probibly kick my ass 9 ways from sunday, even at age 78.
Last Friday I made my debut for NGW. I had the privelage of sharing a lockerroom with alot of great talent, one of whom being a face from way back named Jeff King. He helped me and Ernesto out alot with our match and gave us lots of advice, same with Adam Reynolds. Ernesto and I had a pretty decent match but I think it could have been better. It aired this weekend on Anarchy tv to lots of fanfare however, and I recieved a few messages commending me on it. Thanks guys! I'll be back down in Quincy on April 20th for Rumble Rock #2. I'll be facing Alex Crow, so if you're down in the Quincy/Coldwater area, check it out. The last show was a great night of rock music and wrestling... all for just 10 bucks, how can you lose??
On the KWO front, I have Keith Crimson in a rematch on April 15th at Nemesis. We had a spectacular match last time and I think that we can top our previous outings on the 15th. It's funny, the first time I wrestled Keith it was by accident because my previously scheduled opponent couldn't make it... now it's like we're married to eachother in the ring.
On the relationship front, things seemed to be going great for awhile with this girl I met through some mutual friends. Well, it turns out that I was just (to quote a lyric) "a substitute for another guy." I'm just gonna give up for awhile. Relationships are too hard when you're the only one who cares.
It seems the only thing that gets me through these days is the thought of wrestling. It's really the only thing I have to look forward to. I know it's cliche` but when I'm wrestling, nothing else matters. All of my problems go away, everything is perfect for the 15 minutes I'm in the ring. It's like therapy. I wish I could have made the pontiac show this weekend so I could wrestle and just forget about shit for awhile.
I miss my friends. I just hung out with them this weekend, but my house seems so empty without them all here laughing and having a good time. I don't know what I would do without Tim, Chelsea, Superfan, or Joe. Cody too, eventhough he has gout... it doesn't make him a bad person.
Wrestlemania is tomorrow. We're hitting buffalo wild wings and watching it there. I heard that Blade and Kristen are going. That's so awesome. I hope you have fun guys.
