There's nothing on the radio when you're dead....
Man, this is such a crazy time. This past week a friend of mine (I won't name names) has been in the hospital. Everyday, I've gone to see him, doesn't matter what the weather's been like or what I was doing that day, I went out of my way everyday and traveled out of town to check up on him, and to see how he's been doing. I told him that I loved him like one of my own and that I would give him the shirt off of my back. It was really hard to see someone I care about in such a bad state. It really makes me question everything going on around me. It really got me thinking though...
Latley it's been a real challenge trying to figure out who my real friends are. I've noticed latley alot of people I know are very fair-weathered, you know the type... nice to your face and always ready to put a knife in your back and spit in the wound when you're not looking. I know I've done some awful things in the past, but I've always at least TRIED to be the better man and I've TRIED to make up for it in some way. I've mended fences with almost everyone, but I'm just so sick of the drama, the cliques, the secrets, and the lies. I remember we all used to be family.
On the wrestling front, things have been pretty interesting latley. I worked with Flip Tech for the first time this past weekend in a 6 man tag. It was alot of fun but a bit clustered. I've been wanting to wrestle them for quite some time now, and when it finally happened I wasn't dissapointed one bit. I like teaming with Minority Report alot. I think that we can bring something really different to KWO. Everyone wants to be a badass, we're gonna try to be the whiney, annoying, crybaby heels that you don't see alot of anymore. Think Chris Jericho in... well, his entire heel career.
KWO is on March 18th I think. Depending on who can show up and who can't. Trying to make things convenient for everyone.
I start with Next Generation Wrestling on the 23rd. NGW is going to be interesting to say the least. I think I'm wrestling Cody Kelley but I'm not exactly sure at the moment. I really want to get some KWO guys in this. I've spoken with a few guys, but I don't wanna overstep my bounds in NGW until I get a little bit more established. All I know is that the 23rd is going to be alot of fun. From what I've been hearing, It'll be alot like the set-up Wrestling Society X has, with bands playing inbetween the matches, so that's always cool. The show will take place in Quincy MI at Blingerz. People are encouraged to boo the shit out of me. I think they want me to be heel anyway....
FU Kid's 21st is on the 24th. Happy early birthday buddy. I love you and I hope to go to your party.
The 31st I'm wrestling in Pontiac at another supershow. If this is like the last one, then I can't wait! I'm wrestling a masked man named INSANE-O. He will taste death in my hands, I can promise you that.
April 9th, GRINDHOUSE comes out in theatres. You guys have no idea how long I've been waiting for something like this. Being a lover of horror/exploitation/gore flicks, when I first saw the trailer for this months ago on IFC, I think I cried a little bit. Tears of joy indeed, this is going to be so good! Where else are you gonna get a zombie film, followed by a slasher film, all for the price of one movie?? It doesn't hurt that Tarantino directed one of the movies either. I legit can't wait.
Well, me and Ernesto are going to tread through the snow to get Anarchy TV to the studio before the deadline. Make sure to leave me lots of comments to come back to, if we get back alive. The roads are a mess!
