There's been alot of talk latley that this next show will be the last KWO show. This is simply not true. While some have left to pursue other endeavors, KWO will grind on and continue to entertain our fans and friends with our unique brand of hybrid wrestling. We want to thank everyone for their support over the past few months, and to all the fans that have stuck with us... as the old saying goes, "you ain't seen nothin' yet!" 2007 will be even bigger than 2006, and with that being said, we'll see you on December 17th. KWO presents Uprising IV!

Now that that's out of the way... How's everybody been? I've been ok, enjoying life the best that I can. I'm already over the snow and the winter coldness. The only thing that I like about winter is that it makes the nights brighter, and I like the ambiance that the snow brings out into the night sky. Other than that, winter can just plain suck it.
Alot's happened since I last posted a journal entry. KWO had it's Urban Kaos show. I wrestled Cody Kelley in a match that I really enjoyed. It was cool to see everyone again, and I re-kindled my friendship with Superfan. It was Nik VanCore and Adam Exodus' last show. I wish them the best of luck in whatever they do in the future. I read that Exodus is wanting to start his own group up down in Bay City. I think that's great, it gives people more places to work on their craft and become the best that they can be. I'd be more than happy to come down there and work with them if they invited me.
My friend Sarah and myself have been talking alot latley about getting a place together. I'm still job hunting and it's rather scarce at the moment. I've been trying to leave home for about 2 years now... funny how plans don't seem to work out exactly the way you want them!
Hanging out with Sarah, Tim, and Greg the other day made me realize how lucky I am to have a great group of friends outside of wrestling. I love the friends I've made from wrestling to death, but alot of wrestlers aren't as fortunate to find "normal people." Just kidding guys.
I've been talking with some people over the past couple of weeks about wrestling training. I don't have the money at the moment but I've made some very good contacts over the years and I'm hoping that they can cut me a break. I figure now is as good of time as any to try and live my dream to the fullest. KWO has been really good to me, but I want to sink my teeth into the indies as well. Once I got my first taste of indy wrestling at MWO, I was addicted. I hate the fact that they're so far away and I can't get to all of the shows due to budget. I really miss all those guys and I wanna see them again. They treat me very well, which can be rare in the wrestling world if you're a newbie.
Rob Crowe was up this past weekend. It was fun hanging out with him again and it was just like old times. He suprised me by bringing over the Roddy Piper dvd and a Street Fighter II cartridge for my Super Nintendo. I love Rob to death and I can't wait to step into the ring with him again at Uprising IV.
Man, I can't believe it's been 4 years since Cody, S. Intense, and myself hooked it up in a 3 way dance at the very first Uprising. Alot of things have changed since then. I might go back and look at some of that footage again for old time's sake.
It's kinda funny, alot of people have to rely on purely memories to remember the good times in their lives. Just the other day, I went back and watched an old match of myself vs Homeless Kris. I couldn't help but laugh when watching it because his tie up signal made him look like a spaztic weirdo, something I would have completly forgotten about him if I didn't have it on tape. I love looking back and remembering that kind of stuff.
I'm fortunate enough to have most of my greatest memories and moments on tape. You might say "John, it's just wrestling." I say; "It's all I've got, it saved my life." It's so true...
