OK, this weekend was pretty fun.
KWO Hallowicked was this past Sunday and I wrestled Kombination Kombat Kid one on one for the second time EVER! It was such a blast and I enjoyed working with him. Overall the show was really good in my opinion. There were a few no-shows but we scrambled together and put together a pretty kickass card and I don't think that the card too too many hard hits because of it. There were a couple of fans that were disappointed with the no shows but we tried our hardest to satisfy them the best we could. My boy Mongo and Teemu McCorde tore the house down with a Haunted House Deathmatch (it was Hallowicked afterall) and during the match Mongo's cut started bleeding through his wrist tape. He got some great color but I'll be damned if it wasn't really gross. It wouldn't be a Hallowicked show without blood and brutality. It's kinda what we're known for. I don't think there was one bad match on the show, everything for the most part was really spot-on. The new enterance lights Teemu hooked us up with were a great addition. The only think I think made the show suffer aside from the no-shows was lack of a PA system for commentary, but we did the best we could under the circumstances.
This show was also Shawn Calloway's last KWO match for awhile. Calloway is leaving for Iraq soon. I'm going to see him on the 3rd, since the 4th is his going away party and we're going to Fiend Fest on that day. Him and FU Kid had a great match at Hallowicked, and I'll miss seeing him every month.
On another related Hallowicked note, I really believe that Cody Kelley vs ZANE = KWO match of the year!

After Hallowicked, Myself, Britt, Ashley, Kristen, and the Pontiac crew went to Clare and grabbed some Ponderosa. I'm legit suprised we didn't get kicked out of that place. Lots of food was eaten and lots of shennanigans were afoot! I'd have to say the highlight was seeing Joker eat a 7 patty Burger King stacker and hearing about Zane and his cousin's sex life. Lots of hilarity ensued. We taped alot of the stuff for the Rise and Fall of John Campbell, and taping is almost complete. Expect it out November 4th. It's gonna be great!
This weekend is going to be pretty fun. It's almost HALLOWEEN! I've been endulging in horror movies all this week thanks to AMC's Monsterfest. They had an awesome line-up of movies this year and it's not even over yet! I can't believe Halloween is only 4 short days away. Halloween is my favorite holliday. I mean, I love thanksgiving and Christmas and all... but Halloween is the best.
Me and my boys are going as The Misfits this year. SPEAKING OF THE MISFITS! Fiend Fest is around the corner! Me, Timmy, The FU Kid, and others are heading down to Detroit on November 4th to see the Misfits rock out with Osaka PopStar and others. I haven't been this excited about anything in a long while and I'm sure the 'Fits won't dissapoint at all! It's been a dream of mine since I discovered their music to see them live, and now finally I'll have that chance. This is going to be amazing me thinks!
