It's hard losing someone...

My friend Phil recently lost his sister named Tasha. Now, I didn't really know Tasha that well, but Phil is one of my really good friends, and I've become friends with many people in Phil's family. It was really hard to see the pain that people I care about go through, and to know that you can offer them sympathettic words but it won't really help matters that much.

The last time I saw Tasha was just last week at the Jitter's KWO show. In fact, we were short an extention cord so they ran back to their house to get us one. A few days after it happened, Phil's mom threw her arms around me and told me that the KWO show was one of the last things that she did with the family and that they had alot of fun together. She wanted to thank me for it. I couldn't really say anything because I was really choked up... All I could muster was a "thank you." What else could I have said to that? I was glad that I could have been apart of something that brought them together as a family a little bit.

I've told Phil, as well as his mom, dad, and sister that if they ever need anything from me, to consider it done. I know all too well the pain of losing someone. From my Father, to my Grandfather and Grandmother, to Chris... it's all there, and you think about them every day.

Life is precious, don't take it for granted. Get up and get going, and know that the people you've loved and lost would want you to live life to the fullest.

We will be having a moment of silence for Tasha at the next KWO show, and Phil... if you read this, please tell your family that they're more then welcome to attend.

That's it for now. Take care everyone.

Your Friend,
John Campbell
