sin and the city
After work Monday, I met up with Jamie, we went to Scruffy's for a few beers as it would be cheaper than the med bar. There was a Uni frshers pub crawl thing going on which was damn annoying as there was this one real prick.
We finished up our drinks and went to meet up with Aine and pals, and we went down to the med bar. Everyone walking past us was saying noone else could get in, but at Summerjam they eventually did let everyone in so we waited around for a bit but it was getting a bit crazy. I went off with Aine and she gave me my money back and then a load of police turned up and everyone started throwing bottles and there were a couple of fights, then about 20 police cars/vans/car dogs came and they all had their batons out so we thought it would be wise to leave.
We were hearing rumours that one of the rooms had been cleared cause someone had a gun or something but who knows. We wandered around town for a while then me and Jamie went with Ciara and Laura back to Tom's house who we had met at Aine's party and we got very drunk there instead and met alot of cool people.
So in the end it all turned out dandily.
I feel kind of bad for Mike, but then I think, he made more than enough money with the people that did get in and he'll get a lot of publicity for what happened. You know, any publicity is good publicity......or however that goes.
