I read something today that broke my heart.....

Ok so I have been on a "Queer As Folk" kick for the last couple weeks. God I love that show I miss it so much! Can’t wait to get the DVDs. But any way I had a point to posting….

I was cruising Advocate.com, because I have a huge love for author Christopher Rice and the series Queer As Folk, and I came across and interview that Randy Harrison ( ( Read more... )

wow that is really sad....I read a similar qoute from Vin Diesel, he was like, "I hate the fact that I can't even buy a bottle of water. And if I do, everyone wants to know what kind it is, how much it cost, where I got it, etc. I just want to yell, its just a bottle of freaking water!" (or something similar to that, I dont remeber exactly).
It really is kind of sad.

o I also meant to say, Ive never seen Queer as Folk, but I have seen Bang Bang Your Dead, not only that but my drama club was going to preform the play....the girl who printed it...her computer screwed up....it printed all the copies...for like 8 ppl....which was like, 800 pages....WITH NO SPACES. The script was like
hihowareyoutoday?

It was awful, we ended up not doing it.

The drama club broke up shortly after that.

Oh that’s too bad “Queer As Folk” is a wonderful show and the characters are real and amazing. Its really enjoyable if you are open minded to the subject matter.

Oh I love "Bang, Bang You're Dead" the movie version and the play.

Wow I’m really sorry about your drama club it would have been great to be involved in a play like that.
My high school drama club wouldn’t touch something that controversial, they tended to stick to the classic safeties like "Camelot" and "Hello, Dolly". Which is sad because their were very talented people at our school I think the could have done "B,BYD" justice.

Yes it is,

And that’s exactly what I mean. It’s normal to have a healthy interest in the people you admire. But a lot of the time it becomes obsessive and intrusive!

I think people forget the way they act can effect someone else’s life.
I feel really bad for some celebrities, I just hope they don’t assume all their fans would behave in the same way.

I could never be a celeb.
I would punch a paparatzi in the face.

My drama club was little, I made it myself, it only had about 8 people in it, but we were all up for anything that seemed interesting.

Hahah most people tend to think Im a little gay (thou Im not), I have a pretty open mind about things like that.
I started to get a shirt today that said "Don't worry, your not my type" with llittle rainbow hearts all over it, or one that said "What girlfriend?" but my dad would have freaked.
I think women are beautiful and I dont see anything wrong with being attracted to one, although I wouldnt even say I'm bi, its more of an artist's view- kind of objective, not like, wow she's hot, but man I'd love to paint her.

In genereal, Im open to pretty much anyone of anykind.

OMG
Girl I think you just read my mind lol
I completely agree with you on all counts here!

Paparazzi would definitely get a fist to the face or a knee to the groin from me lol.

You started a Drama club on your own wow that’s great! I'm sorry it didn’t work out.

lol You would not believe how many times I've have been asked if I was a lesbian, even by some close friends. I guess they assume sense I don’t date much that I have to be attracted to chicks, which is ridiculous! Personally I just don’t feel the need to baby-sit some childish boy who thinks he is a man because he has a car, but still can’t manage to do laundry without his mothers help lol

You should have so gotten the shirt that would have been great, just to see the look on peoples faces lol That’s why I got my "I kiss girls pin" lol

^.^ oui, ma petite cherie.

Most of the times, if people I'm not that close to ask if I'm Bi, I just say yes because it takes to long to explain.
My friends just say I'm "open"
I've kissed girls before, and if I thought she was pretty, would do it again, but personally I think boys kiss better.
Alot of the times, if a guy I dont like is hitting on me or one of my friends, I'll tell them I'm gay or pretend like she is my girlfriend to get the guy to leave us alone.

Personally, I dont really see what the big deal is about gays.
Just curious, what is your religious preference?
I'm pagan myself, and I tend to bitch about christains sometimes and I wouldnt want to offend.

Ah see I'm the same way. If someone asks me about it I'm usually like "Well what do you think?" or "You should know by now". Most of the time I don’t confirm or deny it one way or the other. I just don’t think its that important. It really should not matter who I do or don’t sleep with.

Hahaha
I had a friend I was like that with, guys just never quit, sometimes the best way to get rid of them is to just say "Look I'm with her" or "Not the right equipment hun sorry." lol

Um, I'm not really religious
I don’t like organized religion; I think its full of hypocrisy, bigots, and liars. But I am spiritual I believe in God, but on my own terms and no one else’s.

Sweetie you can say whatever you want around me as long as your honest.

Hahaha

Oh I have got into so many arguments with some of my less open-minded friends about Religion and why I no longer go to church. Oh Christ, for both are sakes I'm not even going to get started on gay marriage! I can’t talk about it for very long with out getting angry! I don’t know how many times I have wanted, and came close, to slugging some homophobe. The ignorance in this country astounds me sometimes!

You wouldn’t happen to be adopted would you?
I think we may have been separated at birth.

hey,
Yeah when he told me, he expected me to be like, upset or something, I just burst into smile and hugged him- he was really suprised, and it made him really happy to know that people could accept him. I just wish the rest of the world were as understanding as the us.

Hahaha that is true!
But then, sometimes I think, the world is a bitch...only a woman could be this vindictive!
LOL

Thank you, I'm glad you liked it, it is like my fave painting that Ive ever done...ofcourse you could have commented, I wouldnt have minded. There are a few other paintings of mine in the comments actually.

Just out of curtiousty, where do you live? The last two friends I made on here were from Chile (Frika) and Russia (Normanic). I myself am from South Carolina, although Im in Alabama with my mom right now.
