I read something today that broke my heart.....

Ok so I have been on a "Queer As Folk" kick for the last couple weeks. God I love that show I miss it so much! Can’t wait to get the DVDs. But any way I had a point to posting….

I was cruising Advocate.com, because I have a huge love for author Christopher Rice and the series Queer As Folk, and I came across and interview that Randy Harrison ( ( Read more... )

OMG
Girl I think you just read my mind lol
I completely agree with you on all counts here!

Paparazzi would definitely get a fist to the face or a knee to the groin from me lol.

You started a Drama club on your own wow that’s great! I'm sorry it didn’t work out.

lol You would not believe how many times I've have been asked if I was a lesbian, even by some close friends. I guess they assume sense I don’t date much that I have to be attracted to chicks, which is ridiculous! Personally I just don’t feel the need to baby-sit some childish boy who thinks he is a man because he has a car, but still can’t manage to do laundry without his mothers help lol

You should have so gotten the shirt that would have been great, just to see the look on peoples faces lol That’s why I got my "I kiss girls pin" lol

I think women are beautiful and I don’t see anything wrong with being attracted to one, although I wouldn’t even say I'm bi, its more of an artist's view- kind of objective, not like, wow she's hot, but man I'd love to paint her.
I agree, I'll be like she’s pretty! And people around me are like "What the hell?" And I'm always like "I'm not blind, that woman’s pretty, I didn’t say I wanted to sleep with her." lol

Ditto as long as what your doing makes you happy and doesn’t harm anyone I'm in almost all cases ok with it.

^.^ oui, ma petite cherie.

Most of the times, if people I'm not that close to ask if I'm Bi, I just say yes because it takes to long to explain.
My friends just say I'm "open"
I've kissed girls before, and if I thought she was pretty, would do it again, but personally I think boys kiss better.
Alot of the times, if a guy I dont like is hitting on me or one of my friends, I'll tell them I'm gay or pretend like she is my girlfriend to get the guy to leave us alone.

Personally, I dont really see what the big deal is about gays.
Just curious, what is your religious preference?
I'm pagan myself, and I tend to bitch about christains sometimes and I wouldnt want to offend.

Ah see I'm the same way. If someone asks me about it I'm usually like "Well what do you think?" or "You should know by now". Most of the time I don’t confirm or deny it one way or the other. I just don’t think its that important. It really should not matter who I do or don’t sleep with.

Hahaha
I had a friend I was like that with, guys just never quit, sometimes the best way to get rid of them is to just say "Look I'm with her" or "Not the right equipment hun sorry." lol

Um, I'm not really religious
I don’t like organized religion; I think its full of hypocrisy, bigots, and liars. But I am spiritual I believe in God, but on my own terms and no one else’s.

Sweetie you can say whatever you want around me as long as your honest.

J'taime, ma ami, je t'adore!

Oh, I do adore you!

I swear friends of mine Ive had since middle school, like my BEST friend, I can tell she thinks I'm gay sometimes, she gets weird around me, and I have to remind her, hey, she kissed me! LOL
But mostly my friends are okay with it, and I dont really have to explain myself further.

I couldnt agree with you more about religion. One of my best friends is a superchristian and we fight all the time. Once we had to do an english project to present a speech about a controversial topic, we go to a mostly black school (we are both white) and she chose to do the true history behind the rebel flag (not sure if you are farmilar with that whole thing). My fave statement from her speech was "The KKK burned crosses on peoples yards- why isnt the cross a symbol of racism? If a flag is, it should be too."
She got pissed thou because I did my speech on Seperation of Church and State and totally blew her out of the water (we are both honor students and compete with each other like crazy) and part of my speech was about gay marriage-
"The constitution says, life, liberty, and the persuit of happiness. The BIBLE says gay marriage is wrong. The constition, by its own words, says it is NOT. This country may have many christains and catholics in it, but that is not the only religion in America- why should we live by what the Bible says, if we do not all follow the bible? After all, how is this country run- acording to the Bible, or according to the constitution?"
It was longer but thats what I remebered lol.

Hahaha

Oh I have got into so many arguments with some of my less open-minded friends about Religion and why I no longer go to church. Oh Christ, for both are sakes I'm not even going to get started on gay marriage! I can’t talk about it for very long with out getting angry! I don’t know how many times I have wanted, and came close, to slugging some homophobe. The ignorance in this country astounds me sometimes!

You wouldn’t happen to be adopted would you?
I think we may have been separated at birth.

haha no, thou ironically, I once thought I was. I'd never seen pictures of me before a few months old, never seen my birthcertificate, and my dad wouldnt tell me my Social Security #.
Turns out, I'm not- I saw it all this year when I started working, although my dad hated it...he seemed to think that once I knew my SS# I'd go around telling everybody....like Im that dumb....still no baby pics thou but my mom has all those I found out...(they sepreated when I was 4, both remarried).

I couldn't agree more...they just infuriate me. Like, I knew one guy who was gay bgut he didnt want to admit it and he got heavy into drugs and stuff cuz he was misrable with himself...Ive never seen him happier than he is now a days, he still hasnt told his fam or come all the way out, but just telling some ppl has made it so much better for him. Hell when he told me, I thought he was gonna tell me he liked me, and he told me he was gay! (which was actually a relief because I didnt like him).

I just hate stupid people.

Then again, you know what they say homophobia says about you!

The only thing I hate about staying with my mom/stepdad (i do in the summertime) is that I have to pretend to be christain...I mean, I have to at my house too (my dad would kill me), but here, my mom has accepted my brother as an athiest, but John (my stepdad) would spend all his time converting me and my mom would be upset (she always liked that I was "more religious" than my brother, thou she didnt kno I was LYING.) I felt really bad thou cuz John gave me the bible he got while he was in prison (came home n found his wife in bed with his brother....enough said (no one was seriously hurt, for the record) and I know I'll never use it...

I know there is something out there, something that made us, but I just dont agree with most organized religion for the same reason you dont- plus, I mean, a MAN gave birth to the world? I beilive in a female deity, it just makes so much more sense to me.

If you check my page, there is a painting (subject "For Normanic") that I did of Eve and the serpent.

OMG
I thought I was adopted for the longest time as well. There were always pics of my little brother as a new born but the youngest photo of me was taken when I was about three months old. It turned out I was extremely sick when I was born and my mother and I almost died. So understandably no baby pictures.

Happy your friend is doing well, I have lost a few friends to drinking and drugs, it’s a terrible thing.

One of my mothers friends (mine as well, he is like an older brother to me) said he needed to talk to me and that its was important that I know something about him. Well when he came out and told me he was gay I wasn’t surprised. 1. I knew 2. It's not an issue for me if you are a kind and honest person, I will love you end of story. Well he expected me to be shocked or upset about it. When I told him that I knew and I still loved him and it didn’t matter to me. He was completely taken aback.

I understand what you mean it does make a lot of sense that a female deity would be in charge of it all. But then I think, "Certainly a woman would not fuck up the universe this badly!" lol Oh great I’m going to hell for that one lol

Oh I saw "Eve" on your page the other day. I didn’t leave a comment because I was not friended and I didn’t want to intrude *shy smile*
But she is beautiful you really have talent.

hey,
Yeah when he told me, he expected me to be like, upset or something, I just burst into smile and hugged him- he was really suprised, and it made him really happy to know that people could accept him. I just wish the rest of the world were as understanding as the us.

Hahaha that is true!
But then, sometimes I think, the world is a bitch...only a woman could be this vindictive!
LOL

Thank you, I'm glad you liked it, it is like my fave painting that Ive ever done...ofcourse you could have commented, I wouldnt have minded. There are a few other paintings of mine in the comments actually.

Just out of curtiousty, where do you live? The last two friends I made on here were from Chile (Frika) and Russia (Normanic). I myself am from South Carolina, although Im in Alabama with my mom right now.
