It's Official
In other news, the Mahou Sensei Negima manga is now my favorite guilty pleasure. This is despite the fact it contains two of my least favorite anime/manga tropes... The whole "harem" thing, with the guy surrounded by sexy women who all want him, and underage-but-sexualized characters. It's just surprisingly well-written and funny, almost despite itself. (I think part of what sells it to me is the fact that it's self-aware on the tropes I hate. One of the characters comments on the strangeness of all the girls in the class, and Negi actually has the decency to be embarassed by the fact he's surrounded by all these cute girls, tho arguably the "ew girls" reaction would be more realistic given his age.)
